In French, we call it “putting butter in the spinach.”

What that means is making things a little bit better, a little bit easier to swallow.

This is what we are doing with our “Fuel for Carter” fund raiser.

This in one heck of a tough chapter. We are talking about the life of family that has turned on its head in the last few months – with more challenges ahead of them.

There is much we cannot change and there is much we cannot make easier. But there are a few places we can soften. One of them is to make sure that when Carter’s family heads down to Seattle for yet another round of chemo, they don’t worry about paying for the gas.

We invite you to join us this Saturday July 7th,
and help us put some butter in the spinach.

Come at 6 pm for the silent auction (some awesome items have been donated by so many people in our community), some live music, a bit of great food and then at 8 pm, let’s sit down together and sing our little heads off to Grease!

It’s going to be great fun and it’s going to be a great help.
